What does hi-res mean? How do I know if my file is high enough resolution?
Resolution is the number of dots per inch/ pixels per inch. Files must be a minimum of 300 dpi/ppi to print adequately. To check the DPI/PPI of an image in Illustrator, click on the image and on the top left corner under your image tab, you'll see a section for “Resolution,” which will state the DPI/PPI of your design.
